New All Terrain ambulance donated by Petar Mandjoukov to Plovdiv Special Forces

The former 68th brigade of the Special Forces has received today a new ambulance as a much-welcome donation. The rescue vehicle is suitable for rough terrains and has been delivered during a special ceremony at Base 1 of the unit headquarters in Plovdiv, attended by the city mayor Zdravko Dimitrov, the district governor Dani Kanazireva, the Plovdiv Metropolitan Bishop Nikolay and Senior Commissioner Rogachev. The donation comes from Petar Mandjoukov Foundation.

„Let’s hope this ambulance will not be used for critical emergencies. I wish all the best to the medical staff and the young Bulgarian servicemen“, said Petar Mandjoukov handing the vehicle’s keys to Gen. Yavor Mateev.

“So far, the brigade hasn’t had such advanced equipment, which is truly indispensable”, stated the General.

„A vehicle like this is a must-have for many of our operations. Even trainings and shooting exercises require adequate equipment. Starting from tomorrow, it will be put into direct use. We’ve never had such a high tech ambulance“, the General affirmed.
